Aims and Scope
CytoJournal is an open-access, peer-reviewed biomedical journal dedicated to publishing research on cellular pathology and molecular pathology. It aims to elucidate the roles and implications of cells or cell-related molecules, signaling, and electrophysiological behaviors in mediating diseases and in disease diagnosis and treatment. These publications cover research on pre-translational experiments and novel findings and insights in clinical practice.

CytoJournal aims to establish an authoritative platform for scientists, healthcare professionals, and pathologists to facilitate academic exchange and promote the rapid spread and application of pertinent knowledge.Review Process
CytoJournal has a highly rigorous double anonymized peer-review process that makes sure that manuscripts are scientifically accurate, relevant, novel and important. Authors disclose all conflicts of interest, affiliations and financial disclosures such that the published content is not biased.
In-house submissions that contain the work of any editorial board member, are not allowed to be reviewed by that editorial board member and all decisions regarding this manuscript are made by an independent editor. In addition, these manuscripts are reviewed by two external reviewers. This is also disclosed in the published manuscript under the section of Conflict of Interest.
Editorial Team
The editorial board comprises a panel of experts from various disciplines of Diagnostic pathology and other medical allied sciences to provide their expertise and guidance in maintaining the clarity of content and focus of the purpose for the journal with a focus on diagnostic Cytopathology including molecular pathology. It is a peer-reviewed international journal with a double anonymized review process. Its frequency of publication is continuous, what that means is, it publishes the article once it’s accepted after peer review. Currently, we only have E-Journal. Print copies are available on demand.

The journal uses plagiarism check software (iThenticate) on the Editor’s and Reviewer’s panel in the manuscript management system which is used to check and control Plagiarism for each article.
